New York Series: A Tour Through Central Park

Beautiful architecture can be seen from The Lake in Central park. This area is often used in movies.

These were taken during our stops on our Bike and Roll Tour. For more information please see the previous post.

This is the first time I have seen this bridge in person and yet I recognize it. In how many movies does this bridge show up in?

A great place to have a picnic or just spend some quality time with a significant other or good friend.

I love this tree on the right. Just the way it hangs over the water and the bridge...no wonder this location is used in a lot of romantic scenes for movies. Or does this setting seem romantic because I see it so much in romantic scenes?

This leads to Poets Lane and you can walk over the top, but if you walk under here you can see some great details. Although, there are a lot of people walking by or in my case, a photo shoot is in progress so people are standing around and watching.

Bethesda Fountain.

I really liked this fountain. Not because it is the only statue in the park made by a woman (that's part of it) but because of its size and the multiple Lotus plants growing in the fountain.

It's no wonder why so many New Yorkers love Central Park.
