Hiroshima, Japan: The View from the 21st Floor of the Sheraton Hotel

The view from our room was amazing! The city lights made for a nice night view.

Night view of the Hiroshima Baseball Stadium.

Hiroshima Stadium in the daylight. Go Carps!

We could see the water and the islands from our room.

The Sheraton is next to Hiroshima Station for the JR Shinkansen, but we couldn't hear it from our room!

It looks like the city is flowing out of the mountains like a river of buildings....interesting.

The hotel room was very comfortable and came with many nice features including a big flat screen TV above the hidden mini bar.

 All free with the room!

It was a beautiful room and I would love to stay here again! It was very convenient and everyone was very friendly! Plus it came with a free breakfast buffet. They said it only has a limited selection (which gave us plenty of options) but if you want more then you can pay about 1,000 yen more at the other restaurant!

    1. No, it's not dangerous to visit Hiroshima.

It is perfectly safe and people from all over Japan and various parts of the world visit Hiroshima every year!

The people who are suffering the effects are the people who were living here during WWII and their descendants. (the radiation affected their DNA, but they are not radioactive and there is no danger to others.)

Don't worry about visiting Hiroshima! It is a beautiful city and well worth the visit.
