An Interior of a Restaurant....Mameya Nori Nori In Nagoya, Japan

Sato and I went to this restaurant before, but we didn't know that they had private rooms in the back! It was a very comfortable room with nice leather chairs and a big table.

The wall was covered in washi paper with a red background.

There was this single vase with a flower hanging from the ceiling.

I love their tabletops! They are made out of a single piece of wood with the natural knots and holes that occur left. They must just have a tree sliced into big chunks and then finished to make a table top. Amazing...

A partial view of the leather chair, door and tabletop.

A different view of the washi paper covered wall.

A collection of the garnishments that came with some of the different dishes. I didn't post the food this time since I posted about them before. If you would like to see what kind of food Mameya offers please click here
