Caffe Nido In Nagoya

Here is a shot of the food and the bar. Caffe Nido has only been open for about a year, but the owner has been in the business for years. The owner, Takeo Suzuki, was very friendly and willing to explain whatever question we had and we were able to chat with him for a while. We ended up leaving 2 hours later! No idea where the time went. The chairs were really comfortable so it did not seem like we had been sitting for that long.

Here is a close up of our dessert. On the left is their special of the day, figs with fig sorbet. In the middle, a fruit plate of oranges, grapes, asian pears, and figs with mint leaves for accents. On the right is a plate of vanilla ice cream with a couple of grapes for an accent with Nido written in grape sauce. Everything was sooo good! I had to fight with Sato to make sure that I got to eat some!
